Bergen suburbs spread out in a large area, wild camping for visiting Bergen is not practical. Full disclosure here, we probably wouldn't suggest pitching a tent at this campsite, but it's a great place to park overnight and stay in your car. This is a free parking area on the hillside of Bergen overlooking the city below. We cycled from here to and from the city.
